In Memory of Charles “Chuck” Pope

In Memory of Charles “Chuck” Pope

As some of you may know, we lost a great friend and colleague on October 17, 2024.  Chuck was a wonderful husband and father.  He loved the water, woods and snow.  Chuck loved to take rides with his wife in their SxS or Jeep. He loved being out on the lake, whether it was just enjoying the water with family or fishing with his friends.  He would take hikes with his daughter to explore the woods.  In the winter he loved to be on his snowmobile, “Stay on the Trail Chuck”.  He loved riding on our trails and taking trips with the guys to the UP to snowmobile.

Chuck was Vice President of KCSAS for five years. Chuck played a huge part in securing the lease for our five acres of property.  His dream was to see a Groomer Barn built.  He loved organizing events and training volunteers.  His baby was our Fun Runs, whether on Snowmobile or SxS’s.  Which started out with 25 participants and this year we had over 100.  Chuck was also a director on the board for MISORVA.  There wasn’t anything that Chuck did not help out with.  Chuck loved to talk about the Club and enjoyed meeting people, young and old at the Trail Stops.

Chuck loved being a part of KCSAS as much as he loved his “Detroit Lions”.  Super Bowl bound for Chuck!

Chuck will truly be missed by all!  WWCD – What Would Chuck DO!
